Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TOEIC Vocab (the “App”) is an English vocabulary study app for iPhone and iPad that works without any account or sign-up. The developer does not collect personal information. Your study records are stored only on your device.

2. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect:

• Identifying information such as name, email, phone number, or date of birth (there is no sign-up or login at all)
• Location data
• Device data such as contacts, photos, or microphone input
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any tracking data for advertising or marketing (the App contains no ads)
• Usage analytics (no analytics SDK is used)

3. Information stored on your device

To provide its study features, the App stores the following only on your device. None of it is transmitted to the developer.

• Study progress (review stage, correct/incorrect history, next review date)
• Study statistics (streak, cumulative words studied)
• Bookmarked words
• App settings (daily word target, haptics, etc.)

You can erase this data by deleting the App or using Settings → Reset study records inside the App.

4. Network use

• All word data and word pronunciation audio are bundled with the App, so it works fully offline.
• The current version does not communicate with any server.
• If example-sentence audio downloads become available in a future version, a download will occur only when you explicitly request it. No personally identifying information is transmitted even then.
• The App contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

5. Sharing with third parties

The developer does not sell or share personal information with third parties. Because the App collects no personally identifying information, there is nothing to share.

6. Children’s privacy

The App collects no personal information from any user, and collects nothing additional from children.

7. Data retention and deletion

Study data stays on your device until you delete the App or reset your study records. The developer keeps no server-side copy.

8. Your rights

Because no personally identifying information is collected, there is no data subject to access, correction, or deletion requests. You can delete on-device study data yourself at any time. For questions, use the contact below.

This policy may be revised as laws or App features change. Revisions will be posted on this page.
